Welcome to the Jefferson University High School Prospect Camp! This camp offers a unique opportunity to gain an inside look into our esteemed baseball program and showcase your talents to our coaching staff.

2024 Season Recap


The Jefferson Rams had a standout 2024 campaign, finishing with a 33-17 record.

The team secured the CACC Regular Season Championship, earned a #2 East Region ranking, and received an at-large bid to the NCAA East Regionals, where they advanced all the way to the finals.

2025 Season Recap


Jefferson built upon that momentum with the best record in program history at 40-17.

The Rams reached as high as #14 in the NCBWA national poll and received national votes in the D2 Baseball poll.

They competed in the prestigious Houston Winter Invitational, facing top-tier teams like NCAA runner-up Central Missouri.


Jefferson earned another CACC South Division title, qualified for the CACC Tournament, and received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament as the #1 seed in the East Region.


It was also a historic year for Head Coach Kevin Horvath, who became the program’s all-time winningest coach on March 1 thanks to a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Program Outlook

With back-to-back elite seasons, national recognition, and a growing legacy of individual honors, Jefferson Baseball has firmly established itself as a powerhouse in NCAA Division II. The program continues to develop talent at the highest level and is gaining attention from professional scouts and national rankings alike.


ABOUT THE CAMP

Our High School Prospect Camp is designed to provide aspiring athletes with comprehensive exposure to the collegiate baseball experience at Jefferson University. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with our coaching staff, tour our facilities, and demonstrate their skills in a competitive environment.


Baseball players will receive instruction and be evaluated by college coaches. Instruction and evaluation will include fundamental drills and game situations. 


The camp is open to all high school players (2026, 2027 and 2028 graduates). It is for players that are serious about playing at the collegiate level.


It will be a one-day camp with intense instruction in the following: a large emphasis on position play, fundamentals in hitting, base running, and agility drills. This is an excellent time to showcase your skills to college coaches.


Trackman will be used for Hitting and Pitching. Trackman data will be sent via email at the conclusion of the camp.


There will be a campus tour and question and answer session.

TRACKMAN

Trackman will be used for all aspects of the camp. Trackman will be used for position players during the BP segment of the camp and the pitchers. Trackman will allow the participant instant feed back.


All individual data will be available to every participant after the camp via email.
