OSB Winter Hitting Camps

OSB Elite Hittiing Camps 

Two 60-minute sessions per week camps (Tues/Thurs) offer the following:

• Drills will be used to develop barrel control on all pitch types, create efficient and explosive mechanics, and maximize ball exit speed. 
• Skills are taught by leveraging randomized, outcome-based training that helps execution at a high level on the field.
• A video analysis of players' hitting mechanics will be conducted to identify areas for improvement.
• Trackman will also be used to collect hitting metrics and identify areas for improvement.  
• Ball exit speed and launch angle are metrics used to evaluate elite hitters

Why is exit speed important?

Because a 5mph increase leads to 25 feet more of ball flight and is directly correlated with higher batting averages and on base percentages.

Additionally, a one 60 minute session per week camp (Sundays) is also available for much more basic instruction. 

All camps will be conducted at Jefferson University-East Falls indoor baseball facility. Located at 4201 Henry Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19144
